From June 25th to 26th, Dr. Richard Silburn, Director of Language Center of Manchester Metropolitan University, visited SDUFE. President Zhao Zhongxiu and Vice President Han Zuosheng met with the guest on Yanshan Campus.

Zhao Zhongxiu introduced the development and achievements of SDUFE in recent years, hoped that both parties explore the cooperation on the subject construction and cooperative teaching. Han Zuosheng introduced the international cooperation and foreign languages teaching of SDUFE and put forward suggestions for cooperation between both sides. Richard Silburn introduced the management and discipline development of language teaching at Manchester Metropolitan University, hoped that Manchester’s relevant platforms and multinational teaching management experience be beneficial for the foreign language teaching and research of SDUFE.

On the morning of the 26th, Dr. Richard Silburn gave a lecture titled Teaching English in International Higher Education: Lessons from EAP.

Deans from President’s Office, International Office, and School of Foreign Languages Education attended the meeting.
