Introduction

  SDUFE is involved in international cooperation, academic exchange and research, joint programs, dual degree programs, articulation programs with more than 100 overseas universities and institutions from USA, Canada, Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Czech, New Zealand, and elsewhere for both students and academic staff. SDUFE is one of the founding members of the Association of Sino-Russian Economic Universities (ASREU) , one of the 12 universities in the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) in the China mainland, and a member of Board of Directors of China Council for the BRICS Think Tank Cooperation(CCBTC).  More than 80 foreign teachers and experts are employed annually. SDUFE was permitted to admit international students in 1993. At present SDUFE has language students, degree students and exchange students from USA, France, Holland, Czech, South Korea and elsewhere. In 1998, SDUFE established and then has subsequently been followed with joint programs  with Edinburgh Napier University, Unitec Institute of Technology, and Dalhousie University. The students overseas study programs, like exchange programs, scholarship programs, dual degree programs, study tour programs are being done with University of Minnesota, University of California-Irvine, University of Rennes 1, University of Economics, Prague, and others, and more than 500 students are given a chance to further their study in these well-known universities annually.
