35 Projects of SDUFE Approved by Ministry of Education as the First Batch of Industry-University Cooperation Collaborative Education Projects 2021

        Recently, the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education issued the “Notice on Announcement of the List of the First Batch of Industry-University Cooperation and Collaborative Education Projects 2021”. A total of 35 projects of SDUFE have been approved. The number of projects approved has reached a new high, ranking the first in the national finance and economics colleges and universities for five consecutive times.

        The project distribution is as follows: School of Business Administration and School of Management Science and Engineering have established 5 projects respectively; School of International Economics and Trade has established 4 projects; School of Computer Science and Technology has established 3 projects; School of Economics, School of Accounting, School of Foreign Languages, School of Mathematics and Quantitative Economics and School of Statistics have set up 2 projects respectively, and School of Public Finance and Taxation, School of Finance, School of Insurance, Law School, School of Marxism, School of Literature and Journalism, School of Art, and College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education have established 1project respectively.

        In recent years, the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education has solicited cooperation projects from enterprises who offer financial support to promote the reform of talent training in universities with the emerging needs of industrial and technological development. To promote the effective connection between the industrial chain, the innovation chain, the education chain, and the talent chain, to achieve the goal of comprehensively improving the quality of education, promoting economic transformation and upgrading, and cultivating new drivers of economic development, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education vigorously advocates pooling corporate resources.This is alsoto support the comprehensive reform and innovation of colleges and universities by integrating production and education and promoting the “Initiative of High-Quality Education.” In response to the needs of economic and social development for talent training, SDUFE has combined its own discipline and professional development advantages to establish industry-university cooperation with companies by deepening industry-education integration and promoting the full combination on the supply side of talent training and the demand side of the industry in a bid to assure industry-university cooperation on collaborative education between the two parties.
