On June 18th, the second China International Low-carbon Technology Online Expo and the opening ceremony of the first Carbon Label Festival were held in our school. The expo is co-sponsored by the China Association of Electronic Energy Saving Technology and the China Carbon Label Industry Alliance. Zhao Zhongxiu, President of SDUFE and President of the China Carbon Label Industry Innovation Alliance, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Zhao pointed out in his speech that the Green and Low-carbon Concept has become an inevitable trend in the context of tight resource constraints, severe ecological environment and unsustainable development model. At present, the inflection point from quantitative to qualitative change in ecological and environmental quality has not yet arrived. While focusing on pollutant emission reduction, environmental governance, ecological protection and restoration, we should actively advocate a sustainable development industrial model that is conducive to environmental protection and resource conservation and promote a green and low-carbon lifestyle.
The ceremony was also joined by Mr. Li Gao, Director of the Department of Climate Change for Ministry of Ecological and Environment, Mr Huang Jianzhong, Executive Director of the China Carbon Expo organizing committee and Director of the Electronic Energy-saving Technology Association, Mr. Ji Kunlin, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of Low Carbon Economy Development and more. At the same time, various excellent low-carbon enterprises hosted an online roadshow.
