Representatives of SDUFE Attended the 15th Annual Conference of AAPBS

From Nov.5 to 7, the Dean of MBA School Chen Baoqi and associate professor Wang Xu, as the representatives of SDUFE, attended the 15th annual conference of ASSOCIATION OF ASIA-PACIFIC BUSINESS SCHOOLS(AAPBS) held at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Hosted by the Center of France-Vietnam Management Education and attended by nearly 100 business schools in the Asia-pacific region, this year’s conference was themed by Management Education Innovation. Around this theme, the present experts, scholars, and people in business had a full discussion. The meeting also organized a visit to Schneider Vietnam Electric Company and had a dialogue and exchange with senior management personnel of the enterprise. During the meeting, representatives of Business Schools from various countries also exchanged views on scientific research, faculty, and talent training.

On the sidelines of the conference, the representatives also paid a special visit to the President of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business(AACSB) and the CEO of the British Association of MBA(AMBA) to communicate about our school's international certification of management education. At the same time, Chen Baoqi and Wang Xu also exchanged and probed into the areas of further cooperation with following heads of institutions including University of Queensland, Meiji University, Waseda University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Yonsei University, National University of Singapore, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan Normal University, Tsinghua University and Fudan University.

Founded in 2004 and launched by such distinguished universities as Tsinghua University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National University of Singapore and University of Sydney, the AAPBS was composed by high level Business Schools of universities in Asia-pacific region, aiming to promote their cooperation and exchange as well as to improve their regional educational level. At present, there are more than 140 member universities, including 13 mainland universities, for example, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Lanzhou University, Nankai University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shantou University, Southwest University of Finance and Economics, Tongji University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and SDUFE.
