From May 18thto May 19th, the 2019 International Conference on Big Data and Intelligent Decision-Making has successfully kicked off in in SDUFE. The conference was sponsored by our university and undertaken by School of Management Science and engineering and Shandong Institute of Electronics. Other co-organizers were Shandong Normal University, Shandong Jianzhu University, Inspur Software Group and so on. Secretary of the Party Committee of SDUFE Mr. Wang Shaojun gave a keynote speech, and University President Zhao Zhongxiu presided the conference. More than 180 experts, scholars and graduate students from over 50 universities in Canada, Spain, Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland of China attended the conference.
During the meeting, Secretary Wang Shaojun expressed his wish for the conference to provide a high-level academic exchange platform for promoting domestic and international research in the fields related to big data and intelligent decision-making.
Our university specially invited Professor Witold Pedrycz from the Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, former Chairman of GDN SECTION，Professor Gregory E.Kersten, Editor-in-Chief of International Journal GDN, Professor Luis Martinez, Editor-in-Chief of International Journal IJFS, and the other four renowned international experts and scholars to deliver speeches.
So far, the committee has received more than 100 full-text papers in which 48 papers were selected for report-delivering in sub-forums. Among them, some excellent ones would be submitted for publication in four SCI and SSCI journals. Other selected papers have been bestowed honors and prizes in the awards ceremony.
