At the invitation of Tomer Biton, president of the Israel Treasury Federation, SDUFE delegation, appointed by the Shandong Provincial Government, attended the annual meeting of the Israel Treasury Federation and then visited the Interdisciplinary Research Center of IDC Herzliya and Tel Aviv University on March 25-27, 2019.

At the opening ceremony, Wang Jianbo, Dean of the International Office, was invited to give a keynote speech on behalf of the university, Prof. Wang covered topics as the current economic situation in China, the major transformation strategies of the old and new kinetic energy in Shandong Province, as well as the features and characteristics of international cooperation that SDUFE has achieved. The delegation also met with members from the Israel Treasury Union, Georgia and the United States delegation, which has largely increased mutual understanding of each other, enhanced the friendship and built a good foundation for following-up cooperation.

At IDC, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Eric Zimmerman, Director of the Center for Research Support and Global Affairs. Through in-depth and comprehensive talks, the two sides unanimously agreed to further communicate on the programs concerning teacher-student exchanges and scientific research cooperation.
