About this Course
Linear Algebra is an introductory undergraduate course that teaches the fundamentals of Linear Algebra. All the students of SDUFE who majored in economics, management and other related disciplines are required to take this course. This course begins with an introduction to Determinant , Vector and Matrix, then it sets up the basic framework by introducing equations, eigenvalue, eigenvector and quadratic form. This course will tell the students the basic calculation of Linear Algebra, with the applications in economics, construction and transportations.
By the end of the course, you will be able to understand the definition of Linear Algebra theory, solve basic problems, and use these techniques to think about the applications of Linear Algebra in economics.
Prerequisites and Preparation
basic higher mathematics.
Course Goals
After completing this course, students should have developed a range of skills enabling them to understand Linear Algebra concepts and use those concepts to analyze specific questions.
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
·         Familiar with the basic concepts of Determinant, Vector and Matrix.
·         Master solving Equations, eigenvalue, engenvector.
·         Understand important theories of linear and nonlinear correlation.
·         Develop the skills of applying Linear Algebra theories to analyze the real problems and transform them into Linear Algebra model.
