About this Course 
This course is meant to teach the student that the firm is an Organization with the major components of Resources, Culture and Structure. This is at the heart of the Business Environment (Micro-Environment) and on the periphery is the Macro-Environment; each inter-reacting and affecting each other. Namely the firm is impacted by the Outside Environment, outside-in, and the firm is impacting the External Environment, inside-out.
This course provides a practical understanding of a firm’s position in the business economic environment, and the role of the major stakeholders. In deeper inspection, the basics that build the business will be covered and their interrelationship will be assessed. From both of these processes the role of the manager will be conveyed to choose the right amounts of inputs to deliver the most competitive and highest quality output, of course with the appropriate Social and Ethical mixture.
Prerequisites and Preparation 
Cross-border E-commerce, Economics and Management.
Course Goals 
The students will acquire a rough understanding of issues regarding the management and operation of international project after taking part in this course, which will help them to be able to take the first step towards being a qualified international project manager. 
Students are expected to participate in class discussions with meaningful comments and/or relevant questions.

Deliverables and Grading 
Method of evaluation and grading: 
1There will be six problem sets which will be individually graded. This will count for 50% of the final course grade.
2There will also be a paper final exam. This will count as the remaining 50% of the grade.
